China Glaze Fairy Dust & Orly Shockwave

Today, I have for you China Glaze Fairy Dust over Orly Shockwave!!  Shockwave is a royal blue that I picked up at Sally's a month or two ago on super super sale!!  I used two coats of Shockwave and topped it with two coats of Fairy Dust, a silver holographic polish and a coat of Seche Vite.
Natural light

Direct Sunlight
Artificial Light

And there you have it!  I absolutely love Fairy Dust, however, I've learnt that it does get pretty thick.  But its nothing a couple drops of Seche Restore can't fix!  Or at least that's what I suggest using over any other brand.  Fairy Dust looks great over many different color of polishes, but I'm glad I chose Shockwave instead of just black, but it does look just as amazing over black.  Thanks for reading!  Happy polishing!

Loreal After Hours & SECHE VITE!!

Today, I have for you Loreal After Hours and my first ever top coat of Seche Vite!!  After Hours is a very dark blue that looks much, much darker on my nails then it did in the bottle.  I really like this color alot, but I'm not all to fond of the Loreal polishes formula.  I have 4 Loreal polishes and all of them are very thick!  I perfer my polishes on the thinner side and would rather do 4 coats of a thin polish than 2 of a thick polish, for me its just easier to work with.  But with that said, After Hours is very cremey, smooth, and looks great even without a top coat.  So, to sum it up- the formula of the Loreal polishes aren't on my top favorite list, although it is good polish.

And!  I have some exciting news!!! I bought my first bottle of Seche Vite top coat!!  I was so super excited to use it!  So this is my first mani with SV top coat and I've got to say I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! It's so smooth and makes my nails look so much like they were done professionally in a salon!

If you don't already own a bottle of Seche Vite.. go buy some!!  Right now!!!  Sally's is currently having a sale- buy the top coat and get the base coat free and the total comes out to under $10.  So, go buy some!!  Until next time!  Happy polishing!!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Blue It

One thing my followers will learn about me really quick- I love blue nail polish!  Especially this shade.  Actually.. I've always wanted a car this color!  When I was little I used to call it "Pepsi-Can blue".  Remember when Pepsi cans were that color?  Back to the polish, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Blue It.. I really love the color, application was smooth and you could probably get away with just one coat of Blue It, here I have two coats on.  The application was great, it goes on smooth, evens out perfectly, and has a very shiney finish!   Also, the brush is amazing!  It's one of those brushes that isn't too big but still holds enough polish.  All in all, I love Blue it!!  I would have to say right now its definitely my favorite blue polish!

I seriously recommend this polish if you're looking for a vibrant blue!  Hope you guys enjoyed! Happy polishing!

China Glaze Deviantly Daring

While browsing through Sally's one day last week, I came across China Glaze's new Bohemian Collection and quickly spotted Deviantly Daring.  It was love at first sight!  This color looked incredible in the bottle and I couldn't wait to get home and see how it looked on my fingers!  After just a thin first coat- I could already tell it was an amazing polish.  And after a second coat I actually looked better than it did in the bottle!  I was more than satisfied with my purchase of the metallic-teal polish.  And I don't think it's just because teal is one of my favorite colors- Deviantly Daring is a great formula that goes on smooth and was very easy to control.  It's just right- not too thin or too thick and it only takes 2 coats to reach full opacity.

(I looove this picture!! ^^)

After admiring Deviantly Daring on my nails for part of the day, I realized that the color was similar to a color that I had bought recently- BOLDSinful Colors KissyBOLD, a glittery, jelly teal... So I decided I'd put a coat on top of my already gorgeous nail.  Kissy has a bit more green in it, but more on Kissy in a future post.  And this is how it turned out:

As you already know, I'm ecstatic about Deviantly Daring, but I'm also pretty happy with how they turned out with Kissy on top.  What do you think?  Until next time, happy polishing!
